Truth and Reconciliation

At Life Enriching Therapies, we recognize and honour the rich history and enduring presence of the diverse Indigenous Peoples of Ontario. Our head office is situated on the ancestral lands of the Mississauga Anishinabewaki people, but as a virtual service provider, we operate across Ontario, which is the traditional and ancestral territory of at least 133 First Nations across 14 nations, including the Mushkegowuk (Cree), Mohawk, Tuscarora, Seneca, Cayuga, Oneida, Onondaga (the Haudenosaunee – Onkwehonwe Peoples), Delaware, Mississauga, Chippewa, Pottawatomie, Algonquin, Odawa, and Anishinabe (the Anishinaabek Peoples). We acknowledge that this is a land of both ceded and unceded territories, with unceded territories being those that have not relinquished title to their lands by treaty or otherwise. We strive to respect and honour the territories and communities of all Indigenous Peoples across this land.

We are committed to truth and reconciliation and the ongoing work of decolonization. As part of our responsibility to ensure equitable access and to support Indigenous communities, we are committed to implementing the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP) as a guiding framework in our operations. We stand by the call to action #92, which urges the adoption of UNDRIP principles to create space for Indigenous education, cultural humility, and anti-racism training in professional development.

We recognize that healing and growth require active, ongoing participation. We are dedicated to supporting Indigenous communities by providing inclusive services, training, recruitment, and partnerships that foster respect, understanding, and empowerment for all.
