Group Therapy

Group therapy is a process in which a small group of individuals with similar concerns or goals come together under the guidance of a therapist to share experiences, offer support, and learn from one another. It provides a collaborative environment for personal growth, social connection, and the development of coping strategies.

Process-oriented groups emphasize how group members relate to one another. It explores emotions, communication, and relationship issues within the group setting. The goal is to increase self-awareness and improve social and relational skills through group interactions and feedback.

Psychoeducational groups are structured to provide education and information about a specific topic. The goal is to offer new strategies for managing and coping while gaining a better understanding of the topic.

Support groups are safe places to share similar experiences and challenges. They offer practical and emotional peer support and encouragement. These groups allow members to gain insight from one another and often provide a sense of belonging.
